Hi,
Need ideas for painting to different types of music. Children are to express their feelings/mood through painting. Can anyone suggest any music or ideas how to tackle this?

suk,
You're going to have a wonderful time!
Try Tchaikovsky's '1812 overture' (obvious!) or 'Romeo and Juliet' by Prokofiev. Ravel's 'Bolero', Dvorak - 'New world Symphony', any Wagner for pure imagination...or try etnic music - traditional Chinese is interesting, while Native American and Aboriginal stir deep feelings in some children. And why not try things like Scottish and Irish dances, folk music and other types - although maybe Judas Priest might be a bit much!!!
Just listen to what appeals to you and stirs a response and you won't go far wrong.
