Just posting to point out that I have addedd a seaside role play into the Resources Library under planning, and also a drama plan called 'The Beach'. I think that they might be a bit late for this term :o unless you have to struggle on until the end of July.

Well the best bit Helen is if you have someone in role as a very old lady on the beach ( see the drama) who has lost her memory and the children tell her and show her what to do at the seaside. Dress the 'old lady ' up suitably and she interacts with them. I find that the children can be incredibly kind, and show her how to make sandcastles, eat ice-cream, change for paddling etc. Great fun.
