Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions below (also available from the registration page) have been developed as the FSF admin and moderation teams have encountered new situations and issues. Some of the words may sound heavy and legalistic, and have been deployed only reluctantly as a result of the litigious world we live in. However, please be assured that we are reasonable (and even, some have assured us, likeable) people. Wherever possible we endeavour to be flexible and responsive. If people have a need, for example, to make use of text from articles when delivering courses, or to quote extracts from discussions to use in texts, we are usually perfectly happy to give permission. But we do like to be asked...
Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the Foundation Stage Forum.
However, any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.
You agree, through your registration, that you will not use this Forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or in any other way transgresses any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by the Foundation Stage Forum.
The FSF is an independent organisation and as such does not accept payment for, or allow self-promotion of, products or services by members. Please respect this policy by not joining in order to advertise or promote your own wares. Occasionally, during the course of discussions, it may be appropriate for a member to mention as a solution a product or service with which they are involved. However, this will be reviewed on an individual basis and will be permitted at the discretion of the moderating team.
When you post a message, upload a file, or otherwise provide us with material for display on the Foundation Stage Forum, you are granting the FSF a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide license to use, copy, sub-license, adapt, transmit, publicly perform, publish or display all such material in any medium or venue or publication, printed or electronic, which medium may or may not exist at this time and without further compensation or attribution.
The foregoing grants shall include the right to exploit any proprietary rights in such communication, including but not limited to rights under copyright, trademark, service mark or patent laws under any relevant jurisdiction.
Copyright policy: Please contact us for permission if you wish to use material from any part of the FSF for replication or distribution elsewhere. Copyright of all content is otherwise reserved.
