Early Years interview
This sounds like to me, a story of Goldilocks that I can deliver using the Early Years Framework: the 3 Primes Areas + Specific Area -> Understanding the World (UW). The ELGs for this "UW" can help me to structure my 30 mins activity(ies). By structure, I mean the "triangle" of: what I can do as a practitioner, how to set up the environment and what the children can do for themselves. I would consider what the children's interests are so as to plan "what's next". -

Parents exporting PDF journals
Parents and carers with active Tapestry profiles can now easily export and download PDF copies of their children’s journals directly from their accounts — no need to rely on a manager anymore! This update is designed to make things easier for you, reducing your workload when a child’s time with you comes to an end. Exporting journals now becomes one less task on your to-do list. Plus, with this feature, parents can customise their PDF export with specific dates, observation types, and more — giving them the flexibility to order a professionally printed journal that’s tailored exactly to their liking. Relatives downloading journals - advice for staff
It's now possible for relatives to generate a PDF export of their child's learning journal. Rest assured this doesn't give relatives access to data that they can't already access, but will enable them to generate the PDF from their own account which previously could only be done by a manager for them. If relatives are looking for advise on how to do this, you can refer them to this tutorial. After a journal has been exported by a relative, the export will appear within the Control Panel (1) downloads section (2), where you can also download a copy to see what it contains (3). You can also check the account history to see who has generated exports. To do this, go to the Control Panel (1) and head to the account History (2). You can use the filters to narrow down the history events. Click on 'Filter & Sort History' (3). Then from the pop-up box, select 'Download' as the subject (1) and triggered by 'Relatives' (2). If you want to view history for a specific relative then you can select them from here (3). Otherwise, click on 'Submit' to apply the filters (4). You'll then see all of the relevant history events. You can see when a PDF export has been generated by the relative (1) and also when they have downloaded a copy of this (2).
